  23. For people to be able to fully understand the problems you are
  24. experiencing, you need to provide more data.  For example, what
  25. do you mean when you say the modem stops and starts?  What
  26. are you doing on your system while noticing this?  Etc, etc.

  28. This could be something as simple as you atempting to access
  29. a very busy FTP or WWW site, which is splitting its attention between
  30. many clients.
